I'm so very sorry for your loss. She was an amazing young woman. She was Triston's first pre school teacher and he adored her! Leaving him that first day of pre school was hard on us both. However, when I went to pick him up that first day and daily thereafter, Alisha would always be holding Triston. They bonded right away because she had that special ability with children. I never worried about Triston after that because I knew he was in good hands. I will continue to keep all of you in my prayers during this most difficult time. Tara and Triston Mitchell

My heart aches for the loss of Alisha. I enjoyed watching her grow up over the years, first as a fourth grader in my class and then as a dancer at my studio. She always had a smile on her face even when she stepped on her other "right" foot. I also enjoyed seeing her every now and again around town and checking on how things were going for her. A few weeks ago I ran into her and was THRILLED for her as she embarked on a new chapter of her life - motherhood. I feel blessed to have seen her and to share in her joy of Baby Hayes. I know how dear she was to all of you; for you are a very close and loving family. Please know my thoughts and prayers are with you as you grieve the loss of your precious daughter.

She was always so funny and loved life. She was a good friend to my daughter and a blessing to have in our home. One thing that has come back to my mind is how she would always ask me to put her sister on our Prayer list at Church because she wanted a child. You can see from this how caring she was.
