Services:
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Harley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Kevin Carter and the Rev. Randy Ouzts officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Brent Mitchell, Jamie Korrek, Kevin Whatley, Rob Tolbert, Aaron Capps and Jerry Tullis. The family is at the home of his son, Neal and Irene Whatley, 119 Meadowview Lane, Shearbrook Subdivision. Memorials may be made to Hospice House, 408 W. Alexander Avenue, Greenwood, SC 29646.

Visitation:
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 1 to 2 p.m.

Obituary:
William T. Whatley, Jr., 82, of 305 Granny’s Lane, husband of Mary Timmerman Whatley, died Tuesday, February 15, 2011 at Hospice House.
Born in Greenwood, he was a son of the late William T. Whatley, Sr. and Lila Bess Nelson Whatley. He was retired from Daniel Construction and was a US Army veteran of the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the American Legion Post 20.
Surviving is his wife of the home; two sons and daughters-in-law, Neal and Irene Whatley; Tom and Sherri Whatley, all of Greenwood; a daughter and son-in-law, Janet and Junior Medley, of Hamptonville, NC; six grandchildren, Linda Tullis, Angie Mitchell, Kevin Whatley, Wanda Capps, Rob Tolbert and Jamie Korrek and 19 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a daughter and son-in-law, Cindy and Bo Tolbert.

To All of our extended family, We are so sorry to hear about the loss of Bill. Nobody contacted any of us and we regret the fact that we heard about this today and was absent from his funeral.
