The family has requested that flowers be omitted and memorials may be made to Shriner’s Hospital for Children, 950 W. Faris Road Greenville, SC 29605 or to a charity of ones choice.

| Obituary: Mary F. “Bobbie” Spearman Duckworth, 86, of 1117 Ninety Six Highway, wife of John A. Duckworth, III, died Saturday, June 27, 2009 at NHC Health Care of Greenwood, after a long illness.
Born in Pickens, SC, on March 12, 1923, she was a daughter of the late Alvin and Beulah Miller Spearman. Mrs. Duckworth was a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary Post 20 and was a member of New Market Baptist Church, where she was a member of the Helping Hands Sunday School Class.
Surviving are her husband of 56 years, John Duckworth, III, of the home; a son, John Duckworth, IV of Greenville; two daughters, Rhonda Gail Carithers and her husband, Butch, of Greenwood and Martha Ann Gillian and her husband, Jimmy, of Easley; two granddaughters, Stephanie Collins and April Timmerman; two great granddaughters and three great grandsons.
She was preceded in death by a son, Charles Mark Duckworth; five brothers and three sisters.
