Chuck Sprouse officiating. Burial, with military honors, will be in Greenwood Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Jeff Dixon, Joe Bell, Nathan Swafford, Bobby Sprouse, Jimmy Hughes, and Steve Price.
Honorary escort will be the staff of the Hospice House along with Jim Snyder and Amy Andrews.
The family is at the home.

Thomas E. “Ed” Carruth, 69, of 204 Lake Street, husband of Virginia Elaine Hughes Carruth, died Sunday, December 18, 2011 at Hospice House.
Born in Hart County, GA, he was a son of the late Charlie and Johnnie Mae Thompson Carruth. He retired from Greenwood Mills and was a US Army veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a member of Rosemont Baptist Church, Waterloo.
Surviving is his wife of the home; two sons and daughters-in-law, Mike and Cindi Carruth, Shane and Brandi Carruth and a daughter, Michelle Carruth, all of Greenwood; three sisters, Jane Wicker of Hartwell, GA, Ann Sprouse and Carol Ricks, both of Greenwood; two brothers, Dean Carruth of Hartwell, GA and Larry Carruth of Greenwood; three grandchildren Briana Carruth, Dawson Carruth, and Christian Carruth.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Jack Carruth and Jimmy Carruth and a sister, Betty Terrel.
