Services will be held at 4pm on Friday at Harley Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Dustin Sims officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Memorial Gardens.
Visitation:
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 3 to 4pm.
Obituary:
Emily Marie Rushton Campbell, 82, formerly of 214 Utopia Acres, widow of John F. Campbell, passed away on Wednesday, February 01, 2012 at Petra Health and Rehab in McCormick. Born in Saluda, she was the daughter of the late Marion Robert Rushton and Jeanette Banks Rushton. Emily retired from Greenwood Mills-Mathews Plant after 45 years of service and was in the Quarter Century Club. She was a member of Callie Self Memorial Baptist Church where she was in the Eilen Barnes Sunday school class. Surviving are a daughter, Vickie (Buddy) Hastings of Greenwood; a brother, Al Rushton of FL; two grandchildren, Amy (Keith) Lewis and Rusty Skidmore, both of Greenwood; and three great grandchildren, Toby Skidmore, Chassidy Marie Lewis and Clair Campbell Lewis, all of Greenwood. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Marion Rushton and Jack Rushton. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 303 West Alexander Avenue Ste 1, Greenwood, SC 29646 (www.cancer.org) or to HospiceHouse Care of the Piedmont, 408 West Alexander Ave, Greenwood, SC 29646. The family is at the home of her daughter, Vickie Hastings, 105 Mabrey Court, Augusta Fields, Greenwood.
