| Obituary: Frank Lucian Burnett, Jr., 81, of 418 South Cambridge Street, widower of Mildred Frasier Burnett, died Sunday, February 7, 2010 at his home.
Born in Greenwood County, he was the son of the late Frank L. and Virginia Smith Burnett. He was a graduate of Ninety Six High School and attended the University of South Carolina. He served during World War II with the US Navy on the Battleships USS WASHINGTON and USS TIDEWATER.
Mr. Burnett was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church. He owned several businesses during his life and especially enjoyed cooking, woodworking and antiques.
Surviving are his daughter and son-in-law, Lena B. and Julian P. Bryan of Spartanburg; a son and daughter-in-law, Frank Steven and Sharron C. Burnett of Ninety Six; a sister, Nancy B. Milner of Greenwood; two grandchildren, Allison Bryan Hall and her husband, Ricky Hall, of Spartanburg, April Allen Kennemore and her husband, Matt Kennemore, of Ninety Six; four great grandchildren.
