A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, October 23, 2010 at the home. The family is at the home. It is respectfully requested that flowers be omitted and memorials made to HospiceCare of the Piedmont, 408 W. Alexander Avenue, Greenwood, SC 29646.

Franklin Delano Crouch, 74, of 1523 Catfish Cove Road, Waterloo, husband of Billie Jean Clark Crouch, died Wednesday, August 11, 2010 at his home. Born in Saluda, he was a son of the late Frank Ansel and Eva Corrine Timmerman Crouch. He was retired from Monsanto and served in the US Navy and the US Air Force. He was a member of Waterloo United Methodist Church. Surviving are his wife of the home; daughters, Gayle C. Ostrowski (Danny) and Joye Ellison (Chad), all of Ninety Six, Tara D. Watt (Brian) of Anderson and Janice Marie Miller (Bruce) of Ware Shoals; son, Anthony Crouch (Lisa) of Greenwood; brothers, David Crouch of Greenwood and Richard Crouch of Saluda; 13 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

I am sorry that I did not hear of the death of my mother's cousin and dear friend "Sophie" from my sister until two weeks after. I have posted a condolence on her page.
