| Obituary: Hampton Stennis “Joe” Sullivan, 84, husband of Leatha Craven Sullivan, died Monday, February 22, 2010 in Florence.
Mr. Sullivan was born in Eddiceton, MS, a son of the late Wesley Johnson Sullivan, Jr. and Donnis Lyons Sullivan. He was retired from the U.S. Army, having served in World War II, the Korean War, and two tours in Vietnam. He was head of sales with Binswanger Glass Company, and an appraiser for the State of South Carolina HUD Program.
Mr. Sullivan was a member of the Church of God.
Survivors include his wife of Florence; a daughter, Patricia (Luther) Martin of Greenville; two sons, Rickey (Shannon) Sullivan of Mt. Pleasant and Steven (Nancy) Sullivan of Summerville; two cousins, Janet Burgess and Michael Morrison, both of Shreveport, LA; ten grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Bonnie Sullivan, and a son, Eddie Gaines Sullivan.
