Services:
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Siloam Baptist Church, Ninety Six, with the Rev. Jason Webb officiating. Burial, with military rites, will be in Greenwood Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be his nephews, Gerald Ouzts, Victor Voiselle, Greg Ouzts, Adrian Ouzts, Wendell Voiselle and Leroy Ouzts. Honorary escort will be Sam Martin, Allen Kelly and Bill McAlister. Memorials may be made to Hospice House, 408 W. Alexander Avenue, Greenwood, SC 29646 or to Siloam Baptist Church, PO Box 373, Ninety Six, SC 29666.
Visitation:
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. The family is at the home.
Obituary:
Hebron Clark Ouzts, 90, of 205 Lowell Street, Ninety Six, husband of Edith Leopard Ouzts, died Friday, February 3, 2012 at Hospice House, Greenwood, SC. Born in Saluda County, he was a son of the late George Napoleon and Mintie McManus Ouzts. He retired from Greenwood Mills, Adams Plant, after 48 years of service, where he was a member of the Quarter Century Club. He was a US Army Air Force veteran of World War II, serving in the Pacific Theater. He was a member of Siloam Baptist Church and the Fuller Norris Sunday School Class. Surviving are his wife, Edith, of 63 years; a daughter, Robin Calhoun of Greenwood; two sons, Steve Ouzts and his wife, Cindy, of Columbia, Tim Ouzts and his wife, Pamela, of North Augusta; a brother, Reid Ouzts of Ninety Six; three grandchildren, Anna Ouzts, Erin Ouzts and Carl Ouzts; a great grandchild, Cooper Calhoun. He was preceded in death by a grandson, Chad Calhoun; three brothers, Howard Ouzts, Carroll Ouzts and Herman Ouzts; and a sister, Edith O. Voiselle.
