A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. on Friday at the Harley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Charles Grubb officiating. It is requested that flowers be omitted and memorials made to Bowers-Rodgers Home for Abused Children, PO Box 1252, Greenwood, SC 29648.
Visitation:
The family will receive friends at the funeral home immediately following the service on Friday.
Obituary:
Katherine Gladys Spilbor Trowbridge, 83, of 98 Draper Street, widow of Arthur Trowbridge, died Sunday, June 21, 2009 at Self Regional Medical Center. Born in Poughkeepsie, NY, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Katherine Rugar Spilbor. She was retired from Barden Corporation. Surviving are two daughters, Kathie A. Switzer and Nancy Klein, both of Ninety Six; a sister, Virginia Anson of Poughkeepsie, NY; a brother, Walter Spilbor of Hyde Park, NY; a grandson, Steven Mufalli of A.R.C. Computers of Greenwood and two granddaughters, Kelley Maymar of Ninety Six and Rhonda Cohen of North Carolina.
