A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Harley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Shawn Patrick Williams officiating. The family is at the home. It is respectfully requested that flowers be omitted and memorials made to the American Diabetes Association, Greenville-Spartanburg NC-SC Office, 16-A Brozzini Court, Greenville, SC 29615.
Visitation:
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 10 to 11 a.m.
Obituary:
Elizabeth B. “Lib” Buchanan, 78, of 1015 Wingert Road, wife of Luther “Bo” Buchanan, died Monday, August 16, 2010 at Self Regional Medical Center. Born in Greenwood, she was a daughter of the late Garrett Holbert and Lula Mae Sparks Briggs. She was retired from Monsanto and was a member of Trinity Church and the Women’s Club. Surviving is her husband and daughter, Sandy Buchanan, both of the home; a sister, Louise Hart; a brother, F. D. Briggs and a godson, Gerry Owen, Jr., all of Greenwood.
