Services will be held at 11 am on Saturday at Harley Funeral Home Chapel with the Bishop Ray Boggs and Dr. Terry Bailey officiating.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 7 to 9 pm.
Robert G. “Bobby” Lindley, 76, of 106 Patrick Road, widower of Elizabeth Ann Thomas Lindley, died Wednesday, February 29, 2012 at Hospice House.
Born in Willington, SC, he was a son of the late Thomas Berklin Lindley and Etta Lucille Parnell Lindley White. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Korea Conflict and retired from Greenwood Mills. Bobby was a Mason, Shriner and attended South Greenwood Pentecostal Holiness Church.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Elnita Bowie.
Surviving are a daughter, Kris Marie (Ray) Brown of Greenwood; a son, Jeffrey “Jeff” Scott ( Candy Tollison)Lindley of Greenville; a sister, Lena Minor Gambrell of Greenwood; a brother, Henry Thomas Lindley of Biloxi, MS; nine grandchildren, Josh Lindley of Atlanta, GA, Julie Lindley, Jessica Tollison, Brandie Tollison, all of Greenville, Shane Lindley, Crystal Boland, Heather Shirley, Dillon Shirley, all of Greenwood and Krystal Brown of Ninety Six; and five great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Jeff Smallwood, Mark Cook, Gene Thomas, Mark Smith, Allen Laughlin and Chuck Surrett.
Honorary escort will be Rufus Padgett, William Johnson and the staff of Hospice House.
