Dear Joel, I am so sorry to hear of Sherryl's passing. What a special reunion she and Tiff are having! I pray you will find comfort in our Father's care. Sherryl was a special person. She always cared so much for others. I am so glad that I ran into y'all that night at Cook Out and had such a wonderful conversation. My parents and I were comforted by your company that night shortly after we lost Jason. You two were able to bring a little comfort to them that night because you had also lost a precious child way too soon. I am certain she is with our Father and was met by a beaming Tifanny! My prayers are with you, Joel, as you grieve her loss. Amy Cohen Lawson

Joel, Jim, Debra and the rest of the family, what a week it has been with Sherryl's preparation of going home. She was so at peace with the thought of seeing Tiff again and to be in the presence of the Lord. She and I had such sweet conversations of goodbye and love. She will always be in my heart and I will always cherish the friendship we have had for so many years. You rarely get such a special friendship......May God wrap His arms around each of you in this difficult time. Love to you all.......

Although it is little consolation at this sad time, it should be of some satisfaction to know that in her passing you can celebrate the life Sherryl lived. The measure of a life well-lived is not in how much money one has or what possessions they have accumulated, but rather through the lives they touched and the sorrow they leave behind. May you find peace and comfort in knowing that her loss is felt by all who knew and loved her. Grover and Shirley Chadwick, Greenwood, S.C.

Dear Joel, Jim, Debra and Family, I am so sorry to hear about Sherly but I know she is Happy, she and Tiffanny are rejoined and without all the suffering , pain and trails of life they had to go through. What a reunion they are having. We became friends in the 60's, once she was your friend, you knew it was for life. She had this sweet smile, no matter what trail she was going through it was always there so warm and loving. I pray God will hold each of you at arms length and comfort you during this most difficult time.

Joel, I am so sorry to learn of Sherryl's passing. She was a very special person, and I loved her. We had so many laughs together as we forged a special bond all those years ago when I taught Tiffany. I always loved seeing you out and about town over the years. We were never at a loss for something about which to talk and laugh. She always remembered Will and his Dixie adventure with the "prim and proper" ladies. She got a big kick out of that event! Bless you, Joel. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Katie

Joel and family, I have just learned of Sheryl's passing and I am so sorry. I am still in UT hospital after 3 weeks but know that I am praying for all you guys. Sheryl was always my typing buddy in high school and loved to tease me about chewing gum. She was such a special person and will be missed so much.. We talked about our "journey" we were walking and how we both believed we will be healed. Well she got her healing while seeing her daughter!!! Praise God we will all get to see her again one day!!!
