| Obituary: Shirley Annette Hazel Startzman, 47, of 125 Violet Court, wife of Dwayne Startzman, died Saturday, January 28, 2012 at Self Regional Medical Center.
Born in Laurens County, SC, she was a daughter of Charlotte Louise Love Hazel and the late Floyd Lee Hazel. She attended Piedmont Technical College and was employed by Sykes. She enjoyed social networking, visiting Cherokee, NC, traveling and spending time with her family. She was a member of Emerald Baptist Church.
Surviving is her husband of the home; her mother; children, Jessica Moton (Damarus), Jennifer Vern Easler, Melissa Easler, and Joshua Easler (Ann); brothers, Floyd Hazel, Joey Hazel, Sr. (Donna), and Doug Hazel; granddaughter, Aidan Easler; special friend and “sista”, Vicki Tumblin, all of Greenwood.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Teresa Hazel.
