William A. Callaham, 69, of 203 Morgan Avenue, husband of Dottie Browder Callaham, died Friday, June 19, 2009 at his home.
Born in Charleston, he was a son of the late Donald and Evelyn Hudson Callaham. He retired from Southern Brick Yard and was a member of Restoration Church of God where he was in the Silver Wings Sunday School Class.
Surviving in addition to his wife of the home are two daughters: Brenda Ghent of Rock Hill and Teresa Simpson of Greenwood; a son Billy Callaham of Greenwood; a half-sister Ann Wilson of Greenville; a brother Donnie Callaham; a half-brother Dean Wilson of Greenville; and four grandchildren: Corey Simpson, Quincy Ghent, Breanna Ghent and Haley Callaham.
Pallbearers will be Corey Simpson, Wayne Brown, Gerald Ghent, Billy Callaham, Larry Simpson and Jack Lawhorn.
The family has requested that flowers be omitted and memorials be made to Harley Funeral Home c/o William Callaham Account, Po Box 777, Greenwood, SC 29646.
