Austin James Murrell, 23, of Ninety Six, passed away Sunday, June 27, 2021.

Born in Greenwood, he was a son of the late Jason Ray Murrell. Austin enjoyed hunting and fishing; and was always lending someone a helping hand.

Surviving are his grandparents, William "Bill" and Ora Lois Murrell of the home; sisters, Alexis Murrell and Kaila Culbertson; brother, Dawson Culbertson, all of Greenwood; aunt and uncle, Paula and Stan Mills of Leesville; niece, Karlii Murrell and nephew, Jason Murrell, both of Greenwood; and cousins, Patrick Charles Mills of Newberry and Meredith Amanda Mills of Leesville.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday at Good Hope Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Jeremy Beauford officiating.

The family will receive friends following the service in the church fellowship hall.
