Benjamin Franklin Napier, 80 of 1708 Five Notch Road, widower of Margie Carroll Napier, died on Friday, January 22, 2016, at his home. Born on Heards Mountain in Covesville, VA, he was a son of the late Forrest Monroe Napier and Annie Hunt Napier. Benjamin retired from Sunbelt Truck Lines and Security Force. He also managed an apple farm at W. H. Walker and Sons and enjoyed jigsaw puzzles, loved animals, spending time with his family and watching westerns. Benjamin was a member of Greenwood Seventh-Day Adventist Church. He was preceded in death by a grandson, Johnny Napier; siblings, George Napier, William Napier and infant twins; and a daughter-in-law, Stephanie Napier. Surviving are his children: Clyde Napier (Bonnie) of Highland, NY, Donald Napier of Callison, Larry Napier (Dolly) of Clintondale, NY, Angela Benjamin (Gary) of Bradley; John Napier of Callison, and Jacqueline Setterlund (Eric) of Clintondale, NY; a sister, Peggy Key Crozet of VA; fifteen grandchildren; and seventeen great grandchildren.
