Obituary
Clifton "Cliff" Wade Owensby, 48, of 123 Garner Heights, husband of Amy Hastings Owensby, died Monday, July 10, 2017 at Self Regional Medical Center.
Born in Greenwood, he was a son of James "Jimmy" and Norma Jean Hall Owensby. He was a 1986 graduate of Greenwood High School and a member of New Life Baptist Church. He was formerly employed by Burton Builders.
Surviving in addition to his wife of the home and his parents of Greenwood are his son, Zak Owensby of the home; three brothers, Gary, Woody, and Scotty Owensby, all of Greenwood; and special dog, Ayla.
Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday at Emerald Baptist Church with the Rev. Chad Charles officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Kevin Luiz, Sam Wyatts, Nathan Smith, Al Tumblin, Phillip Perry, Tony Mays, and Charlie Andrews.
The family will receive friends on Thursday from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. the church.
Memorials may be made to Harley Funeral Home and Crematory c/o Clifton Owensby, PO 777, Greenwood, SC 29646.
