Ernest Darrell Noffz, 73, of 211 Salak Road, husband of Mary Diane Noffz, died Thursday, November 9, 2017 at Self Regional Medical Center.

Born in Crosshill, he was a son of the late John Richard and Mattie Cornelia Edwards Noffz. He was retired from Solutia, served in the South Carolina National Guard, and attended First Mt. Moriah Baptist Church. Mr. Noffz was an avid hunter who enjoyed the great outdoors. He was a great father, great PaPa, and loving husband.

Surviving in addition to his wife of the home are his children, Brandon Noffz (Erica Mauldin) and Brian Noffz (Tonya); sister, Betty Powers; sisters-in-law, Carol Noffz and Kathy Smith (Travis), all of Greenwood; brothers-in-law, Larry Wright (Kitty) of Greenwood and Rick Hardin (Patti) of Statesboro, GA.; grandchildren, Hannah and Hunter Noffz, both of Greenwood.

He was preceded in death by his brother, John Carroll Noffz and brother-in-law, Jerry Featherston.

Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday at Greenwood Memorial Gardens Chapel Mausoleum with the Rev. Randy Ouzts officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Eddie Sisk, Wallace Enlow, Ray Edwards, Hunter Noffz, Michael Noffz, and Graham Wright.

Honorary escort will be Mark Gonce, Matthew Gonce, and Kevin Powers.

The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
