Juanita Dye Amerson, 93, formerly of Edgefield Street, Greenwood, widow of Howard Amerson, died Sunday, March 17, 2019 at Abbeville Area Medical Center.

Born in Avera, GA, she was a daughter of the late Bunyan and Brinie Daniels Dye. Juanita retired from Belk and was a member of Callie Self Baptist Church where she was in the Ethel Blackwell Sunday school class.

Surviving are her daughters, Donna Austin of Greenwood, Cathy Powell of Lexington, and Paula Pulley (David) of Greenwood; a brother, Harold Dye of Augusta, GA; five grandchildren, Bron Austin (Namoi), Julie Robinson, Chris Pulley, all of Greenwood, Derrek Pulley (Amy) of Easley, and Jamie Ellis (Scott) of Lexington; a great grandson, Zack Austin; and great great grandchildren, Zack, Jr. and Skyler.

Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the Harley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Kenny Griffin officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends before the service from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to a charity of one's choice.
