Larry Edward Copelan, 56, of 4322 Hwy 25 South, husband of Angela Royston Copelan, died Saturday, December 21, 2013, at his home.
Born in Greenwood, he was a son of James E. Copelan and Edna Langston McKenize. Larry was a co owner of Copelan�s Garage and Justin�s Trucking, a member of the Moose Lodge, and attended Augusta Highway Baptist Church.
Surviving is his wife of the home; his father of Donalds; his mother of Anderson; a daughter, Jessica R. Weis (Wes) of Abbeville; a sister Angie Bourne of Abbeville; a brother, Ivan Copelan of California; and a granddaughter, Mason G. Weis of Abbeville.
He was preceded in death by a son, Justin Elliott and a sister, Linda Godfrey.
Pallbearers will be David Goodman, Stan Calhoun, Grant Dowell, Scott Buist, Mel Ashley, Larry Ashley, Danny Harvley, Terry Freel, Mike Smith and Allen Irwin.
Honorary escort will be J.J. Martin, Ed Pulliam, Leslie Rushton, Dobbie McNeill, William �Buck� Clary and Steven McFerrin.
