Obituary

Lois Virginia Calvert, 92, widow of Roy Edward Calvert, passed away Saturday, July 15, 2017 at Self Regional Hospital.

Born November 13, 1924 in Saluda County, she was the daughter of the late Monroe and Nannie Bell Mills. She retired from Greenwood Mills after 47 years, where she was a member of the Quarter Century Club, and was a member of Mathews United Methodist Church.

Surviving are her son, Wayne "Leroy" Calvert (Linda) of Greenwood, a sister Frances Huffstetler of Chapin; two grandchildren, Tammy Walker (Wayne) of Ninety Six and Jason Calvert (Bonnie) of Greenwood; and five great grandchildren, Lee Phillips, Jeremy Phillips, Jacob Calvert, Jeanna Brooke Calvert, and Bryson Walker.

She was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.

Graveside services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Monday at Greenwood Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Carol Peppers Wray officiating.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 – 3:30 p.m. on Monday at Harley Funeral Home.
