Lottie Loretta White Gentry, 85, of 5517 Highway 178 South, wife of Joseph Williams Gentry, Sr., died Thursday, January 11, 2018 at her home.
Born in Greenwood, she was a daughter of the late Milton Lafell and Lottie Maria Holtzclaw White. She was a member of First Mt. Moriah Baptist Church.
Surviving in addition to her husband of the home are her children, JoLynne Thompson (Skeeter) of Greenwood, Joseph William Gentry, Jr. (Yvonne) of Williston, Nina Faye Adams (Rusty) of Callison, and Peggy Gentry of the home; five grandchildren, Taylor Carvajal (Mikey) of Lafayette, IN., J.P. Lamb (Jewel) of Liberty, Christa Shealy (Glenn) of Saluda, Spanky Weaghington (Brandi) of Callison, and Ben Adams (Samantha) of Piedmont; six great grandchildren, Braelyn Pruitt of Greenwood, Connor Lamb, Jake Lamb, Katheryn Lamb, all of Liberty, Larsyn Shealy of Saluda, and Reese Weaghington of Callison.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Elizabeth Adams and Ellen McDowell.
Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday at the Harley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Tim Wilbanks and Rev. Bryant Simms officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Joseph Williams Gentry, Jr., Spanky Weaghington, Ben Adams, J.P. Lamb, Skeeter Thompson, and Rusty Adams.
The family will receive friends from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home.
