Monita R. Wollerton, 86, of Ashley Place, widow of William Wollerton, Jr., went home to be with the Lord while surrounded by her family on Saturday, May 9, 2015 at Hospice House. Born in New York City, she was a daughter of the late Edward and Mona Lamorere Rickert. She was employed as a secretary at Hudson High School, Hudson, NY and retired in 1981. After her retirement, she and her husband enjoyed spending winters in Brooksville, FL and became full time residents in Brooksville in 2007. After her husbands death in 2008 she moved to Greenwood and became a member of Harris Baptist Church and the Master's Disciples Sunday School Class. Surviving are three daughters, Marguerite Wollerton of Brooksville, FL; Chris Moon (Robert) of Greenwood, SC and Susan Yount (Michael) of Belvidere, NJ; five grandchildren, William R. R. Moon (Jennifer), Christy Moon, Rebekah Yount, Michele Strang (Jacob) and James Yount and a great grandchild, Madison Moon. Memorials may be made to HospiceCare of the Piedmont, 408 W.
