Otis Ingalls Evans, Jr, 67, of 508 West Laurel Avenue, husband of Jennifer Hall Evans, died Sunday, September 7, 2014 at his home. Born in Montpellier, VT, he was the son of the late Otis Ingalls Evans, Sr. and Grace Evans. Otis graduated from the University of Maryland with a Bachelors degree in Political Science. He retired from the U. S. Air Force with the rank Master Sergeant and was a member of the Civil Air Patrol (C.A.P.) in Greenwood. After retirement he worked for Greenwood District 50 as a computer technician and had previously attended Augusta Highway Baptist Church. Otis had great passion and was proud of his family and serving his country in the military. Surviving in addition to his wife of the home are a son, Arthur Evans (Marcie) of Greenwood; a daughter, Manuela Motyl (Sean) of Clermont, FL; a sister, Alleen Eastwood of Biddleford, MA; and three grandchildren, Peter and Hayden Evans and Mitchell Motyl.
