Douglas Newman's Obituary
Douglas Roy Newman, 68, of Greenwood, passed away Friday, March 1, 2024 at Richland County Hospital in Columbia.
Born in Raleigh, NC., he was a son of the late James Marion Newman and Jeane Ankerman Newman. Douglas worked at Charleston Naval Shipyard from 1974 until 1995 and was the retired owner and operator of American Eagle Locksmith.
He is survived by his children, Stephanie Newman, Christina Pack, James "Jimmy" Newman and Richard "Richie" Newman; sister, Sandra "Sandy" Martin; brother, Richard "Dicky" Newman; and grandchildren, Alexandra Pack and Christian Pack.
A celebration of life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on April 7, 2024 at the Harley Family Center.
