Agnes Scott Day, 90, of 512 Salak Road, widow of Willie Day, Jr., died Tuesday, February 25, 2014 at her home. Born in Greenwood, she was a daughter of the late Walter Eugene Scott and Essie Hinton Scott. Agnes was a homemaker and a member of Tranquil United Methodist Church. Surviving are a son, Randy Day (Wilma); a daughter, Jane Ashley; a sister, Millie Anderson, all of Greenwood; five grandchildren, John Day, Alan Day, JJ Gorman, Susan Clark and Dan Ashley; ten great grandchildren, Chase Day, Josie Day, Preston Day, Allie Day, Wesley Clark, Justin Clark, Austin Gorman, Celeste Gorman, Cole Ashley and Dylan Ashley; and three step great grandchildren, C. J. Dougherty, Jeffery Dougherty and Caitlin Andrews. Pallbearers will be her grandchildren and honorary pallbearers will be her great grandchildren. Memorials may be sent to First Mt.
