Alan Hicks Calloway, 53, of 7106 Highway 25 S, Ninety Six, husband of Donna Marie Calloway, died Saturday, January 20, 2018 at Self Regional Medical Center.

Born in Spruce Pine, NC., he was a son of Tom Calloway and the late Bernice Hefner Calloway. He was formerly an electrician and a member of Woodfields Baptist Church. Alan enjoyed shooting his guns and fishing in his spare time. He was an avid North Carolina Tar Heels and Dallas Cowboys fan.

Surviving in addition to his wife of the home are his children, Rebeccah Calloway of Columbia, Alyssa Jo Calloway of Greenwood, and Jakob Calloway of Abbeville; sister, Lynne Dougherty (Shorty) of Hodges; brother, Tommy Calloway of Greenwood; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins of North Carolina.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by a sister, Beth C. Smith.

A memorial service for his family and friends will be held at Woodfields Baptist Church on March 10, 2018 at noon.
