Timothy Alexander Bates, 5 � week old son of Andrew and Nina Downey Bates, of 139 Kathwood Drive, died Wednesday, December 12, 2012. Surviving in addition to his parents of the home; is a sister, Autumn Falkingham of Travelers Rest; grandparents, Timothy and Cindy Bates of Laurens and Hong Suk Downey of Williamston; great grandmother, Nina G. Downey of Greenwood; aunts and uncles, Lisa Potter of Williamston, Jasmine Gibbs and her husband, Sullivan, of Willow Springs, NC, Sarah Bates of Laurens and Paul Jason Downey of the home. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Paul L. Downey.
