Obituary
Alice Goodman Brown, 88, of Greenwood, passed away Saturday, January 9, 2021 at Hospice and Palliative Care of the Piedmont.
Born in Ninety Six, she was a daughter of the late Thurman F. Goodman and Mary Yeargin Goodman. She was formerly employed at Greenwood Mills and retired from Monsanto. Alice was a member of the IFCJ organization, International Fellowship of Christians and Jews and a member of Ninety Six Pentecostal Holiness Church, where she was a member of Class #4.
Surviving is her son, Joel Ray Brown of Greenwood.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Trantham and Nellie Rimer; two brothers, James Goodman and Jesse W. Goodman; granddaughter, Tiffanny Ravencraft; and daughter-in-law, Sherryl Brown.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday at Greenwood Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Brian Brock and Rev. Larry Smith officiating. The service will be recorded and uploaded to Alice's life tribute page by visiting www.harleyfuneralhome.com , where you can also leave messages for the family.
