Alice Ireland Corley, 85, of 221 Sulphur Springs Road, widow of Sion C. Corley, died Tuesday, May 19, 2015 at NHC - Greenville. Born in Easton, MD, she was a daughter of the late William Ireland and Margie Pennington Cole. Alice retired from the Department of Agriculture after 39 years. She was a U.S. Army Veteran, where she was a member of the Womens Army Corps, and was a member of Shade Tree Revival Church. Surviving are three sons, Joel Corley (Michelle) of Lexington, Glenn Corley of Greenwood, and Sion Corley of Waterloo; two daughters, Mary Kernells (Vernon) of Greenwood; Wanda Young (Evans) of Malabar, FL; four sisters, Nancy Goad of Sneads Ferry, NC, Susie Covington of Easton, MD, Sallie Ireland of Easton, MD, and Joan Stover (Gene) of Dover, DE; three brothers, Albert Ireland (Monica), David Ireland, and Sonny Ireland (Sharon), all of Easton, MD; and six grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a sister, Dorothy Christopher. In lieu of flowers the family requests that they be omitted and memorials be made to the Disabled American Veterans by visiting www.dav.org . The family members are at their respective homes. '
