Alisha Martin Boyter, 21, and her unborn son, Hayes Elliott Boyter, of 1905 McCormick Highway, died Friday, September 27, 2013, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Born in Abbeville, she was a daughter of Billy W. Martin and Tammy Bond Martin. Alisha attended Piedmont Technical College, where she was pursuing her degree in Early Childhood Education. She was a pre-school teacher at Mud Pies Creative Learning. She attended North Side Baptist Church. Surviving is her husband, Cory Boyter of the home; her parents, Billy and Tammy Martin of Greenwood; a mother and father-in-law, Tony and Regina Boyter of Greenwood; her sister, Amber Koerber (Chris) of Greenwood; her brother, Brandan Martin (Shanda) of Edgefield; her brother-in-law, Ryan Boyter (Ashley) of Greenwood; grandparents, Vera Martin of Greenwood, Susan Bond (Benny Dyar) of Abbeville, Edwin Roach (Linda) of Ware Shoals, and Christeen Boyter of Ware Shoals; nieces and nephews, Harper Koerber, Kaden Boyter, and Ava Boyter, all of Greenwood, Colby, Jordan, Tanner, and Ashton Martin, all of Edgefield. She was preceded in death by grandparents, Thomas Bond and Billy Martin. Pallbearers will be Sean White, Gene Martin, Tim Owens, Mike Barrett, Levi Smith, and Hunter Cole.
