Obituary
Allie McAlister Owens, 86, of 115 Mathews Heights Road, widow of Robert Lee Owens, passed away Friday, May 20, 2022 at Hospice and Palliative Care of the Piedmont.
Born in Greenwood, she was a daughter of the late J.D. McAlister and Elsie Hodges McAlister. She retired from Greenwood Mills, Chalmers Plant.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert; three children, Robbie Owens, Cristy Lou Wallace, and Elsie Wallace; and three sisters.
Surviving is her son Lenny Owens; five grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; and fourteen great great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday at Greenwood Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Randy Ouzts officiating.
The family members are at their respective homes.
