Alma Louise Gillion, 97, formerly of Greenwood, resident of NHC Laurens, passed away Monday, December 8, 2025.

Born on April 3, 1928 in Lyman, SC, she was a daughter of the late Jim and Sally Dutton Smith. She spent career working at Greenwood Mills for many years before retirement. In her leisure time, Alma enjoyed exercising, coloring, and tending to her beloved flowers, which brought her immense joy and peace.

She is survived by her children, Betty Dorn (Billy), Linda Griffin, Kathy Hagan, Terry Allen (Cheryl), and Ronnie Allen (Donna); numerous grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Joyce Ables; two sons, Larry and Curtis Allen; and sister, Annie Laura Belle McDowell.

Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday at the Harley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Russell Addis officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends before the service from 1:00-2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
