Amanda S. Blackmon, 42, of Saluda, passed away Tuesday, December 17, 2024.
Born in Greenwood, she was a daughter of Charles W. "Skip" Haynie, Jr. and Debbie Sue Nelson Haynie. She enjoyed camping, fishing, and exploring antique shops in search of hidden treasures. She had a special place in her heart for gardening, nurturing plants with her green thumb. Amanda's family was the center of her world, and her daughter Lexi was not just her child but her best friend. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren, whom she adored unconditionally.
She was preceded in death by her nephew, Jayden Gregory.
Surviving in addition to her parents are her children, Hunter Blackmon (Cassie Burns) and Kaitlyn Blackmon (Braxton); companion, Thomas Ray Fallaw; stepchildren, T. J. Fallaw and Gail Fallaw; sisters, Stephanie Nelson and Kimberly Haynie; grandchildren, Kayden Cockrell, Micah Cockrell, Jaxon Cockrell, Autumn Burns, Addie Blackmon and Noah Rodrigues; stepmother, Tina Haynie; the father of her children, Randy Blackmon; her fur baby, Marley; along with multiple uncles, aunts, and extended family and friends who loved her dearly.
Graveside services will be held at 3:30pm on Saturday, December 21, 2024, at Elmwood Cemetery with the Rev. George Atkins officiating.
The family will receive friends at Harley Funeral Home before the graveside from 2-3pm.
