Angela Jo Wright Young, 56, of Greenwood, wife of Thomas "Tom" Young passed away Wednesday, November 1, 2023 peacefully with her family at her home.

Born in Phoenix, AZ, she was a daughter of Carleton Wright and Rosy Russell Wright. She graduated from the University of Central Arkansas with a master's degree in physical therapy. Angela was employed by Self Regional Medical Center as the Director of Therapy for Home Health and was a faithful member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. She loved working out with her Cross Fit family; her chickens and dogs; woodworking in her spare time as a stress reliever and the beach. Most of all she was a loving wife, mother, Gigi, and sister.

Angela is survived by her husband, Tom; parents, Carleton and Rosy of Conway, AR; children, Jason Young (Hannah), Jacob Young (Lexie), both of Conway, AR, and Josephine "Joie" Young (Brooks Bentley) of Pelzer, SC; sisters, Theresa "TJ" Moix (Bubba) and Christine Seefeld (Chris), both of Conway, AR; brothers, Scott Wright (Elsie Rose) of Conway, AR and James Wright (Samantha) of Saudi Arabia; grandchildren, Emma Young, Jase Young, Aubree Loveless, Jasper Young, Ellie Young, Jude Young, Lila Jo Bentley, and expecting Mallory Jean Bentley; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Carla Hester and grandmother, Viola Russell.

A funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church with Rev. Fr. Francisco Oñate-Vargas officiating.

The family will receive friends at Harley Funeral Home on Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m. with a Rosary following at 7:00 p.m.
