Obituary

Virginia Ann Barber Farmer, 73, of 247 Saluda Street, Ninety Six, widow of Samuel Farmer, died Thursday, October 19, 2017 at her home.

Born in Rome, GA., she was a daughter of the late Wesley and Ora Atkins Barber. She was the owner of Ann's Outlet and was a member of First Baptist Church of Ninety Six.

Surviving are her three daughters, Bridgette Davenport (Michael) of Mullins, SC, Elaine Clark (Michael) of Ninety Six, and Tracy Reynolds (Del) of Greenwood; two brothers, Tommy Barber (Tommy) of Due West and Jerry Barber (Pat) of Albany, GA; seven grandchildren, David Davenport (Karla) of Marion, Lacy Floyd (Dalton) of Murrells Inlet, Scott Davenport (Merri) of Wahiawa, HI, Michael Clark (Sheena), Hollie Clark (Jason Cooley), both of Ninety Six, Lance Williams (Tarah) of Florida, and Tyler Reynolds (Kaci) of Waterloo; and eight great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Tammy Price; two sisters, Juanita Timmerman and Louise Short; and a brother, Bobby Barber.
Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday at First Baptist Church of Ninety Six with the Rev. Chuck Sprouse officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Memorial gardens.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Friday at Harley Funeral Home and Crematory.
