Annie Ruth Higginbotham Bryan, 86, formerly of Hampton House, widow of Jack Bryan, died Saturday, June 11, 2011 at NHC Health Care. Born in Greenwood, she was the daughter of the late Luther and Addie Simpson Higginbotham. Annie retired from Abney Mills in 1973 and was a member of Callie Self Memorial Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Thomas A. Yon, a sister, Ethyl Satterfield and three brothers, Richard Higginbotham, Olin Higginbotham and Luther D. Higginbotham. Surviving are a son, Thomas �Tommy Yon, Jr. and his wife, Janet of Greenwood; two grandchildren, Kristin Loper of Greenwood and Amy Yon of Atlanta, GA; and a great granddaughter, Addison Loper of Greenwood.
