Annie Mae Smith, 86, of 201 Morgan Avenue, wife of Arthur Allen Smith, died Wednesday, December 22, 2010 at Self Regional Medical Center. Born in Idlewood, GA, she was a daughter of the late Samuel D. Anderson and Marvie Mae White Weeks. She was retired from Greenwood Mills, Plant #4, where she was a member of the Quarter Century Club. She was a member of the Fountain of Life Worship Center. Surviving is her husband of the home; children, Jerry Lee Smith (Esther) of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Peggy Zeigler (Tony) of Easton, MN, Martha Stewart (Dr. Donald Williams) of Fountain Inn, Dorothy Johnson (Henry) of Greenwood and Samuel Arthur Smith of Kings Mtn., NC; a sister, Mamie Blackstock of Greenwood; 14 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren and six great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, June Nabors; a sister, Julia Sweatt and two brothers, Billy Anderson and Robert Weeks.
