Archie Maxie Fallaw, 85, of Ninety Six, husband of Jo Nell Vaughn Fallaw, passed away Thursday, June 29, 2023, at his home.
Born in Gaffney, he was a son of the late Bennie Elmer Fallaw and Ethel Mae Erwin. Archie was a U. S. Army veteran and worked with Greenwood Motor Lines, Smith and Waters, Ninety Six Manufacturing and also Greenwood County. He enjoyed the outdoors, feeding birds, attending his grandchildren and great grandchildren's ball games and was an avid Gamecock fan. He was a member of Abney Memorial Baptist Church for over 55 years.
He was preceded in death by a son, Steve Fallaw; and siblings, Carolyn Fisher, Harold Dean Fallaw and Bennie Fallaw.
Surviving in addition to his wife of the home are his children; Kim Willis (Ernie), Kevin Fallaw (Laurie), Kenneth Fallaw (Amanda), Timmy Fallaw, Tony Fallaw (Crystal) and Tommy Fallaw (Amanda); sister, Susan Jones; brothers, Roger Fallaw, Michael Fallaw (Jan) and Jeff Fallaw (Donna); twenty-two grandchildren; and eighteen great grandchildren.
Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, July 3, 2023, at Abney Memorial Baptist Church with the Rev. Justin Arender officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Evan Fallaw, Michael Willis, Drake Fallaw, Tyler Fallaw, TJ Fallaw, and Liam Kelley.
Honorary escort will be the members of the TEL Sunday School class along with Paul Williams, Alan Brooks, Tommy Holland, Billy Lewis and Bobby Holland.
The family will receive friends at the church on Sunday evening from 5:00-7:00 p.m.
