Arlene Reed Dysart, 85 of Greenwood, widow of Charles Wesley Dysart, died on Friday, November 11, 2016, at her home.
Born in Chisolm, ME, she was a daughter of the late James Reed and Grace Berube Reed. Arlene graduated from Lander College having received her nursing degree. She worked with Magnolia Manor for 10 years and at Self Memorial Hospital for 30 years, where she was nursing supervisor for 15 years. She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church.
Surviving are four sons, Steven Dysart of Anderson, Jimmy Dysart, Jeffrey Dysart (Cindy) and Scott Dysart (Lynn) all of Greenwood; a brother, Edward Reed (Sharron David) of Myrtle Beach; two sisters, Jeannine Wilkins (Hersey), of Livermore Falls, ME, and Louise O'Quinn (Charles) of Greenwood; five grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.
A mass will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church with the Father Timothy Tebalt officiating. The family will receive friends at Harley Funeral Home on Sunday evening from 6 to 8 pm. Cryptside services will be held at 11 am on Monday at Oakbrook Memorial Park Chapel Mausoleum.
Pallbearers will be Jimmy Rodgers, Thomas Rankin, Buddy Hastings, Michael O'Quinn, Norman Girardin and Joseph Johnson.
Family members are at their respective homes.
