Aurea �Caridad� Capdevila, 77, of 606 Calhoun Avenue Unit 2, wife of Roberto Capdevila, died Monday, July 21, 2014 at Hospice House. Born in Camaq�ey, Cuba, she was a daughter of the late Angel and Brunilda Rivero Martinez. Caridad was a seamstress and attended St. Mark United Methodist Church. Surviving are her husband of 55 years; a son, Robert Capdevila (Debra) of Greenwood; a daughter, Caridad Timmerman (Robert) of Greenwood; one sister, of Cuba; two brothers, of Cuba; four grandchildren, Erica Capdevila and Matthew Capdevila (Kylie), both of Charleston, and Marissa Hazel (Joey) and Katelyn Timmerman, both of Greenwood; and two great grandchildren, Blakeney Vaughn of Charleston and Jace Hazel of Greenwood. Pallbearers will be Robert Capdevila, Matthew Capdevila, Robert Timmerman, Joey Hazel, Vincent DiBona and Timmy Knowlton. In lieu of flowers the family request that they be omitted and memorials be made to the Hospice House of the Piedmont; 408 West Alexander Avenue, Greenwood, 29646. The family is at the home of her daughter, 123 Heathwood Drive, Greenwood, 29649.
