God sent his angels to carry Avenelle Cook Wells safely to her new home in heaven, 84, of 3411 Old Highway 246, widow of Frank Wells, Sr., died Saturday, January 17, 2015. Born in Greenwood, she was a daughter of the late �J.W.� and Lula Mae Butler Cook. She retired from Greenwood Mills - Adams Plant, was a member of Temple Baptist Church, and the T.E.L. Sunday School class. Beloved Mother of Larry, Kay V., and Johnny Evans, all of the home; two sisters, Mildred Driggers and Ruth Goldman of Ninety Six; eight grandchildren; twenty-one great grandchildren; and fifteen great-great grandchildren. The family is at the home.
