Barbara Elmore Allison, 84, of 314 Sunrise Circle, widow of Robert T. Allison, Jr., died Tuesday, November 17, 2015 at Hospice House. Born in Greenwood, she was a daughter of the late Willie Leroy and Julia Thrift Elmore. She worked with Greenwood Christian School and was a member of Hodges Church of God and attended Greenwood First Assembly with her family. Surviving are her children, Rob Allison (Tammy) of Ninety Six, Lisa Allison Landreth (Ronnie) of Greenwood and Mark Allison (Tonya) of Ninety Six; a brother, Kenneth Elmore, Sr. of Greenwood; grandchildren, Heather Gardner (Ronnie) and Krissy Gibert (Wayne) of Ninety Six, Tyler Allison of Columbia, Noah Landreth (Ashley) of Greenwood, Hollie Lindley (Jon) of Hodges, Zach Allison and Eli Allison of Ninety Six; and five great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her sister, Jean Starnes. Pallbearers will be Ronnie Gardner, Wayne Gibert, Noah Landreth, Tyler Allison, Jon Lindley, Zach Allison and Eli Allison. The family is at the home of Mark and Tonya Allison, 5120 Highway 246 South, Ninety Six. Memorials may be made to Hospice House, 408 W. Alexander Avenue, Greenwood, SC 29646.
