Barbara Ann Dotson, 75, widow of Joe Edward Dotson, died Wednesday, May 3, 2017 at Hospice House.

Born in Greenwood, she was a daughter of the late Ralph and Thelma Richardson Lawrence. She was a graduate of Greenwood High School and retired from Kendall/Professional Medical Products following 33 years of service. She was of the Baptist faith.

Surviving are two daughters, Rhonda Ervin (Jim) of Greenwood and Susan Scoggins of Burnsville, NC; stepdaughters, Amy Lamb (Jim) and Kathy Parris (Terry), both of Spartanburg; sisters, Vickie Lawrence Moore of Greenwood and Linda Lawrence Reddish of Pensacola, FL; brothers, Sonny Lawrence (Pam) and Jimmy Lawrence, both of Greenwood and Sam Lawrence (Sherry) of Atlanta, GA; grandchildren, Brandace Smith, Roy Clayton Smith, Kendall Ervin, Jordan Ervin, Rollins Cattrell, Brandon Parris and Madison Parris; and great grandchildren, Paityn Ervin, Ava Smith, Alexis Smith, Taylor Gray and Savannah Gray.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Greenwood Memorial Gardens Chapel Mausoleum with the Rev. Craig McDaniel officiating.

The family will receive friends at the cemetery immediately following the service.

The family is at the home of her daughter, Rhonda Ervin, 126 Roman Circle.
