Barbara Ann Evans, 70, of 191 Link Circle, formerly of 108 Woods Terrace and Blyth Road, of Greenwood, widow of Wayne B. Evans, died Thursday, July 09, 2009 at Hospice House. Born in Greenwood County; a daughter of the late Arthur Lee and Vivian Wells Haupfear. She was retired from Greenwood Memorial Gardens and a member of Trinity Baptist Tabernacle, where she was a member of the Ladies Sunday School Class. She was predeceased by a sister Myrtle Cole, two brothers Raymond Haupfear and Willie Scott; a nephew Tommy Scott Surviving are four daughters, Vickie Baldwin of Gardnerville NV, Shirley �Von� Coleman of Greenwood, Valerie Griffin of Bradley, and Sherri and husband Randy Laughlin of Abbeville; a son Bobby Black Jr. of Greenwood; a stepdaughter Lynn Shockley of Atlanta; a stepson, Wayne B. Evans Jr. of Trabuca Canyon CA; a nephew raised in the home Rudy Scott of Saluda; sixteen grandchildren, Chris Wilson, Jeffrey Coleman, Jessica Coleman, Rodney Baldwin, Susan Young, Michael Griffin, Joshua Griffin, Misty Galloway, Laura Black, Windy Bolt, Bobby Sue Black, Robert Black, Paul Laughlin, Jacob Laughlin, Ean Laughlin, and Ethan Laughlin, and fourteen great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Chris Wilson, Jeffrey Coleman, Michael Griffin, Joshua Griffin, Paul Laughlin, Jacob Laughlin, Arnie Cole and Rudy Scott.
