Barbara Ann Stennett Smith, 69, of 658 Grier Street, widow of Charles Smith, died Sunday, June 14, 2009 at Self Regional Medical Center. Born in Greenwood, she was a daughter of the late Albert and Ruth Jay Stennett. Mrs. Smith was a homemaker and a member of Assembly of God. Surviving are two daughters: Kim Shirley and her husband Larry of Hodges and Vanessa Long of the home; two sons: Joseph Albert Dodgen of Donalds and Chris Smith and his wife Debbie of Hodges; three sisters: Faye LaGrone of Moore, SC, Earlene Stewart and Linda Anderson, both of Greenwood; three brothers: Gene Stennett of Savannah, GA, Marvin Stennett and John D. Stennett, both of Greenwood; five grandchildren: Jason Shirley, Courtney Smith, Jordan Smith, Christian Smith and Shane Smith; and one great granddaughter Kaylee Smith.
