Barbee Elizabeth Brown, 51, of 112 Saint Kitts Court, died Sunday, December 18, 2016 at her home.
Born in Greenwood, she was a daughter of Margaret Elizabeth Burnett Cousins and the late Richard Lewis Brown. She was a graduate of the Police Academy, where she received Top Gun designation and was retired as a security officer from Leath Correctional Facility. She was a member of Callie Self Memorial Baptist Church.
Surviving is her mother of Willow Springs, NC; her stepmother, Norma Chrisley (Venoy) of Ninety Six; her aunt, Charlotte Brown Cordell (Jim) of Greenwood; a sister, Angela Brown of Greenville and brothers, David Eugene Brown of Ninety Six, Tommy Lee Burnett of Greenwood and Julian Cousins of Willow Springs, NC.
She was preceded in death by her father, her grandparents, Lewis P. and Helen B. Brown and a sister, Shanda Cousins.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. on Thursday at Greenwood Memorial Gardens.
