Belle Rushton Townsend, 78, of Hodges, passed away Tuesday, February 12, 2019 at her home.

Born in Greenwood, she was the daughter of the late George Bell Rushton and Frances Rebecca "Reba" McClain Rushton. Belle was formerly employed with Stirling House (Brookside), 911 dispatch with Greenwood Communications and was a member of Hodges Church of God.

She was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters.

Surviving are her children, Frank Wilson and Julie Brown (Mike); five grandchildren, Charity Montes (Julio), Rebecca Wilson, Zachary Tallman, Kari Brown and Keith Brown; and eight great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 12 noon on Saturday at Harley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Charles Caldwell officiating.

The family will receive friends before the service from 10:30 am-12 noon at the funeral home.
