Benjamin Lee Roy Greer, 66, of Elmwood Blvd., Elgin, SC, died Sunday, March 6, 2016 at Bryan Dorn VA Medical Center.

Born in Greenville, he was the son of the late Paul Greer and the late Ruby Mae Alexander Greer. Lee Roy was a US Air Force veteran having served during Vietnam. He retired from South Carolina D.O.T. and was a member of Welcome Presbyterian Church in Ware Shoals.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Jake Greer.

Surviving are sons, Lee Greer, Jr. of Elgin and Jim Greer of Hodges, SC, sister, Willie Mae Brown of Greenwood; four grandchildren; and a great grandchild.

Services will be held at 1 PM on Friday at Harley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Wayne Wicker officiating. Burial will follow in Troy Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 6 to 8 PM.
